Hi guys and gals, im having another issue with my singlespeed conversion.
When i turn my cranks with chain attached, every other revolution the chain seems to stick to the rear sproket as if its got a tight link but it hasnt as ive had the chain off and checked for tight links and there are none.
it does this going cclockwise and anti clockwise and everytime it does this it is not the same link as ive marked them with tipex.
It is a sram 8speed chain with a dmr sprocket that came with the sts kit and a fsa chain ring. Would i need a singlespeed chain to correct the issue?
They is plenty of slack in the chain , ive not tightend it yet, as i wanted to see if ive go he correct chainline.
Many thanks
Ben

is it sticking on the same link? is it the one you joined?
what is the width if the cog?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

hi mate, no all the links are not tight nor is the one ive joined as its a sram powerlink. It isnt the same link everytime either. The width of the sprocket is this but it does not say the width.
