    but what are you asking?

if it is a 10mm through axle frame then no the hub will not.

    but you dont say.

basically if his current wheel, a standard qr, not a 10mm through axel wheel, would work

Depends if the frame's standard or if it takes a 10mm through-axle.

a 10mm through axle will not work with most Qr hubs.

I went t rough this a month or so ago and measured front drop outs to be usually 10 mm and rear ones 9 mm (if memory serves me well).

again axles, depending on brand and model tend to be one of these two sizes and fit ok o their respective slots. obvisously a 10 mm front axles will not go into a 9 mm rear drop out and it will be too narrow so no point attemtping it .... unless you are my friend who did so (actually 6 speed rear wheel into an 8 speed frame) even with my advice not to and ended up snapping the rear mech hanger..

Stnd front is 9mm, stnd rear is 10mm, suspect your memory is fubarred!

As has been said a 10mm rear qr dropout is standard, but a 10mm rear through axle frame will not accept all 10mm QR, so which '10mm dropout' is it of the two?
