Didn't want to add this comment to an existong one, as it would lose it's punch (to me) Ordered a XTR front mech, and set of goodridge inner and outers, and a set of matchmakers which I *thought* had turned up whilst at work on Friday, but they didn't.

Now they were sent on the 25th, still not here so rang up CRC... have to wait 10 days for a replacement to be sent out, becuase they have to open up a dispute or something with RM.

With all these strange/unmakred vans dropping stuff off from RM, no wonder.

Holidng the build up.... as I like to do it all in one go!!!

Rant over, but anyone else had longer than usual delivery timings with them?

  • My last three orders from CRC have all taken at least two weeks to arrive after the date they claim they were dispatched. When they arrived they were all sent first class.

Not sure what the deal is because the franking on the parcels didn't have a date.
  • yeah crc were slow for me the other day.

nohas ark on the other hand.... ordered at 3pm yesterday, arrived 9 am today! free postage too!

I've had a few bad experiences with CRC lately so I'm trying to use other places now when I order stuff.

They probably know that whatever your buying aint gonna be used anyways so you wont mind waiting.

EDIT: But on a serious note I placed 2 orders so far this year (both less than a tenner) and both came within 3 days. :o

Ordered wheels from On One and rotors from CRC early Tuesday morning.
Wheels arrived yesterday and rotors this morning.
Some Haribo and it would have been perfect.

Same as Cooldad (well, different stuff but same delivery time). No issues with them (other than the lack of free sweets. :))
  • Ordered some tyres from them a couple of weeks back (wired). Arrived within 2 days in a wheel box. Not bad considering it's all free postage.
  • Fucking postman, lazy arsed fuckers...

Had a card left by the PO which turned out to be some grips (ESI), whilst I was at the depot, the girl said "Oh, theres another large jiffy bag here for you", turns out it was:

    My XTR mech
    Avid Matchmakers
    Carbon top cap/Expander
    Goodridge outer and inner cables

The retard had not even left a card to say it was at the depot, has been there since the 27th Jan...

    My apologies CRC

Hate that. I've had a couple of run ins like that.
One was they put my name on the package the wrong way so they never seen it when I went to go get my package and where they put a card through but never rang the doorbell. Yes thats right, he was bothered to write out the card but he couldn't be bothered to ring the bell.

I have just received an order from CRC that was very quickly delivered (2 days) but they screwed up...
Instead of sending me the black brake lever i ordered, I got a white brake assembly (caliper, pads, hose etc). It's 30 quid dearer than just the lever & I would have been quite happy with just the lever.
Half of me says send it back, the other says it's going to be too much bother & just order the lever again...
