usually get the grey ones . lbs out of stock so bought the black ones . what if any differance will this make ?

Red = 9.0 deg
Black = 0.0 deg

So what that means for you is that your foot isn't free to rotate while clipped in.
That means that if you're not careful with how you align the cleats on your shoes you might end up with discomfort. I'd guess most likely in your knees

Yep - not something I'd do personally. Did your lbs have red ones? These have more float than the grey, but probably preferable to the black. As already mentioned your set up will have to be spot on or you'll feel it in your knees
