Kuota 2010 Kebel or 2011 Kharma?

It's now or never. Do I go for a 2010 Kuota Kebel with Fulcrum race 5 and Ultegra or 2011 Kharma with new 105 and Mavic Aksiums. The 2010 Kebel is £100 cheaper but doesn't have the newer group set or bb30.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

If you can find anywhere with 2011 Kharma's in stock, let me know, I was trying to find one a few weeks ago.....0

Thats what they'd have to think, although in reality, its not true, they were supposed to get stock a few weeks ago, they never got back to me to confirm they'd had delivery0

I take it you've tried Epic Cycles? Their site says they do, i know they don't have the 2011 Kebel as i've been contact with Chris at Epic.

Get a 0% on purchases for 12 months credit card. If you want longer then balance transfer for a small fee after 12 months for another interest free year to pay it off?0 -
Depends what the inended use is - the Kebel is stiffer and more race orientated, the Kharma gives a slightly smoother ride. You need to ride them before deicding.Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

had the same dilema a couple of years back - I went for the Kharma mainly because the 2009 kebel didn't have a great range of colours back them.
The Khama is very comfy - but lacks the accleration of a dedicated race bike - I haven't riden the Kebel - but I guess your choice is comprimising a tiny bit of performance - for comfort0 -

I disagree. I rode a Kharma back to back with a Scott Addict. I couldn't detect any difference when standing on the pedals giving it some.
Until someone shows me some figures showing significant differences in energy losses between frames I'll continue to believe that thinking you need a frame that rattles your fillings out in order for it to be a race bike is subjective nonesense.0 -

My bike prior to the kharma - was an Alu pinarello - this was notably stiffer than the kharma.0 -
But did it accelerate any faster?0

How you you know? Timed runs over a set distance?0

I am about 15mins away from pulling the trigger on a Kharma0

Yup 8)
Finally stopped procrastonating about it0 -
Go for the Kebal.
Lioghter and stiffer but if you want more comfort so for a slighty more padded saddle! i bet you wouldnt feel too much difference between them. plus you get better wheels and components with the Kebel0
