Photography Book advice

does anyone have any or can anyone recommend some good books about photography.

im interested in technical knowledge and stuff about composition, so far im looking at buying:

understanding exposure: bryan petterson

the photogaphers eye: michael freeman

any others that anyone likes?

    I started of with "The Focal - Guide to Exposure" it was bought new in 1978.

    a bit Geeky.

    Two good books to look at too are:

    Captured by the Light - David Ziser and
    The Moment it Clicks by Joe McNally

    I also have the Bryan Peterson book above, it is good.
    Don't be put off by the Ziser book being about weddings, it is more to do with lighting in general.
  • The book I used was How to Photograph Absolutely Everything by Tom Ang
    Excellent book and it isn't focused on DSLR cameras, he uses a Fuji FinePix and explains what exactly all those manual settings do...
