Hi there,
I'm new to this is forgive if im posting in the wrong place! My b screw and adjuster plate split on my xtr rear mech and, haing been outbid at the last minute on a replacement on ebay, i saw a x9 rear mech on crc and went for it. I've since learnt i'd need to replace the shifter if i do this, is this true? If so, can anybody recommend a good cheapish shifter? Also, would is cost a fortune to get the broken parts on my old xtr? where can i order them from? I think i found the part numbers. all in all i'm in a bit of a pickle - any help, advice appreciated.
Thanks
Craig

yes you will need a Sram Numbered shifter (X0,X9,X7 etc)
this is also presuming that you have a 9spd set up."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
