Specialized Allez 16 or Decathlon Sport 1?

Which one would you buy & why?

£269 for the sport 1
£389 for the Allez 16 (2010)

Is it worth the extra for the Allez??

I can't get the spec of the Decathlon on their website so can't do a like for like for comparison.

I would think the Specialized Allez frame would be much better though with swoopy curves, carbon fork and stiffer & lighter design.

I went for the Allez 16 in the end, it turned up today with a chunk out of the fork. To say I'm not happy is an understatement!

Unlucky, a bit of inconvenience - phone up your bike shop and get it replaced.
