New Custom Front Wheel Query

Should be ordering a new front wheel and was wondering seen as they are more or less the same, would the weight of a custom built Flow on a Pro II with DT Competition spokes weigh roughly the same as the Hope Hoop version? which according to Hopes site is 880G.

I know the Hope Hoop version would work out cheaper but they only come with black hubs and I want red hubs with white rims.

Also what size rim tape do I need? was looking at the Velox rim tape cloth which I have used before or does Merlin supply you with rim tape on custom builds?

    Speak to a Hope Tech Centre, they can get Hope Hoops with any coloured hub you want. If you're lucky, Hope may still have some white Stans rims knocking around as they did a batch of them last year
