Anyone have any recommendations, or excellent deals noticed on road shoes suitable for Keo cleats? Been using my old MTB SPD shoes for the last couple of years, but been given some proper road pedals so would like to get some road shoes, but want to get the best ones I can for about £80. I'm a size 8/9 depending on brand.
Cheers.

I have the mtb version of these and they are great. Great fit and great looks. easy to keep looking new. I have worn mine for a full 24 hour race, 5 hour club rides with cafe stops and XC racing and cant think of a bad word against them...0 -
Cyclestore have some very good discounts on road shoes at the moment http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/rangeViewer.asp?categoryID=217
I'd recommend the Specialized BG Fit range. I've got the S-Works shoes which are great, but the ones in your price range tend to be very highly regarded too.0 -
I usually do not buy anything 'Shimano', but their range of shoes is an excellent one0

I'd recommend getting a pair that fit well rather than looking for a bargain...
You really need to try them on to determine what works well.0 -

+1 about trying them on
In the past I loved the look of some Nike shoes but they didn't go with my feet at all.
Got a pair of Spesh BG shoes and they're great...more so with the inserts0 -
I've just bought some North Wave Vertigos for about that price and I'm very happy with them.
For the record I have a few things from North Wave and they all proved excellent over time including my favorite long sleeve jersey and snowboarding boots....0 -
+1 Spesh BG are the value in that price range, and generally easy to find and try on0

I used to have these road shoes and they were very nice, I now use the mtb version (razor) and have the top of the line mavic mtb (fury) too, all are excellent but that's because they fit me perfectly.
Try some brands on, then look for the bargains. 8)0 -
