Hi

I have some carbon forks where the paint has been rubbed off, happened when transporting the bike, the carbon is showing should I treat it with something to protest the carbon?

Thanks Baroid

I treated mine with a ride up Alpe d'Huez. They really enjoyed it.

You could cover it with a little epoxy or even clear nail varnish if you want to add a bit of shine again but there's no need.

Some of the more extreme guys on Weight Weenies remove the paint (saving anything up to 100g apparently ?!!?) and wax the frame instead. I've never heard anyone suggest that there is a problem with doing this (apart from it being a time consuming way to make an expensive frame ugly  ).
