Its cut so it fits tighter when I am on teh bike although I wouldnt call it baggy at the minute??

The websites on the front are the wrong way round!

When you are hunched over, biting the bars and screaming for mercy and showing the fans exactly what they came to see.... your sponsors will be slashing your spare tubs and crying into their polystyrene-clad coffees as they realise their hard earned cash has been spent on an upside down kit!

Andy, a few weeks back on the Bilsland Cycles website I sent in my details to find out more about the club/racing team that was being setup, but I've heard nothing at all.

Are there still opportunities to join for 2011, do you know?

I was with Dales Cycles RT last year, but was less than impressed if I'm honest.

Mike, is this the zipvit stuff? We are talking about that on another thread in the buying section. I just ordered some of that kit from the zipvit website. Any good? Bit weird your club kit can be purchased online by anyone though don't you think???

It's exactly the same design though with Lichfield CC written on it and to be fair doesn't look that clear in the designs and certainly took me a double take at it. Not that I'm complaining though btw, it's a nice looking piece of kit...I've ordered a set from zipvit so it has to be good taste

it is the same, i don't ride the kit anyway, it's good quality, comes up big thou relative to other stuff.

The club has done a sponsorship deal with Zipvit who are headquartered locally. I guess in reality we have sacrificed a bit of identity for some sponsorship that should allow us to develop the club further. In reality the "old" club kit was looking pretty old fashioned and was putting a few people off. The new kit is very nice quality and is going down really well with people.
Very nice chammys and a big step up from the Giordana stuff we had

Brilliant thanks Mike. My club is a Giordana user & I'm pretty happy with them so that's nice to know you rate them up there. I wouldn't worry too much about the identity sacrificing, it seems that most folk are going down that route and moving with the times. Like you said, at least you'll progress & develop the club. My club has no sponsorship as we are funded through work and it's a poor set up because no-one takes an interest in doing anything apart from the chosen few and the purse strings are tight.
