Anybody use these shoes? Interested in the cleat drillings and the thermoforming features. Are they a good shoe or disappointing?

Thanks in advance

I got mine late-ish last summer IIRC.

I think it's a fabulous shoe. I did the initial fittings by myself but had them re-done with the help of UK importer. If you get a pair, I'd just advise another set of hands to help.

I ride SPD-SL on the road so got the 3 hole drilling. I made an observation in a previous post that I couldn't quite get the cleat forward enough for me - it's there or there-abouts. There is no solution to this but I got used to them as they were. I just normally ride with a slightly more forward cleat position due to my track racing which I have specific shoes for.

One of the best things about the thermoforming is that you can set the heel to hold your foot securely and then don't have to have the fastenings stupidly tight to hold and support your foot/heel - I didn't wear any other of my road shoes through the end of year till I had to start wearing boots due to the weather... 8)

    Hope that helps.

thanks for that Eddy. It's the thermoforming and the cleat thing that attract me as I prefer my Time cleats further back than some shoes allow due to their drillings (hence the adaptor plate for Speedplays), Mavic are known to be slightly more fwd.
