New biker, new poster hello all

am just taking up biking, and planning on completeing in triathlons and road races. but first things first need a bike! Anyone got a bike they would like to swap for a engagement ring??!! White gold worth over a grand.... pics description etc all avaliable.

    thought there may have been some cyclist wanting to pop the question, kill to birds with one stone!

    I am after spending max 300 pound on a bike new or second hand, any advice be much appreciated.

    Ha ha and defo no to the foriegn legion, never could get the hang of the french language!
