Upgrading v brakes to Rim brakes help

Hi ALL

I ride a specialized Sirius and i was wondering if i could upgrade the v brakes to perhaps Dual Pivot Caliper Brakes


I have recently updated the rear brake to an Avid Single Digit 5 V-Brake but would the dual pivot brakes give me any real improvement.
We are an online travel agency.

Specialized Sirrus (converting to road bars) - Honda Fireblade.

    V brakes have more braking power then road type calipers.

    IF you were going to change you would also need to have suitable levers fitted (the cable pull is different)

    I would be looking at fitting better brake blocks and cleaning the rims.
