Edinburgh Cycles Intensive Maintenance Course (1 Day)

Hi,

My missus has booked me on one of these at the Newcastle branch this saturday as a Xmas pressie.

Anyone been on one ? Was it good ? Did you take your own bike along ? Was the course aimed at Roadies or MTB'rs ?

    Did this course in the Newcastle branch a couple of years ago. I thought it was great. I did a bit of reading before hand on the Park Tools site to gain some understanding of what to do but just having someone there to keep you on the right track was good.

    You can take your own bike along. I did and effectively it gets a service by you under the watchful eye of the course tutor.

    On my course we had a mix of road bikes, MTBs and hybrids - it was tailored to the bikes that were there.

    Had to delay my sat session till Feb 16th due to my father being in hospital with a serious illness, when i do get to do the course i wll let you know how it goes.
