Mini-pump recommendations

The mini-pump in my Camel Back is on it's last legs. It was only a cheap one I picked up from an LBS some years ago. It's time for a new one. Can anyone recommend a decent little pump that doesn't cost a lot? There was a round up of mini-pumps some time ago in MBR that had a very highly recommended little pump for the back-pack that was very well priced. I can't remember what the make model was & I can't find the issue now. Anyway, that was on my 'to buy' list but I never got around to getting it.

  • Topeak Turbo Morph, bigger than a normal mni pump but still fits in a hydration pack easily and is so much more effective.

Topeak Mountain Morph, I guess it's similar to the turbo. It's fantastic, I'd never go back to one of the piddly little useless pumps again.

Mini morph here, seems easier than standard mini pumps due to the hose, and the twist out T handle. Mountain morph also very impressive.

Yeah but three of them take up a lot of space.

I've got a little Blackburn, doesn't work as well as my old Topeak (deceased) but has a red anodised shaft.

Lezyne make the best pumps I've used. Have a look at the small Alloy Drive. I've got the medium size - it's excellent - extremely light and just oozes quality.
Small is 112g and 166mm long.
Other high volume pumps to look at are the HV Drive at only 94g.

Riding this Boardman Team FS 2010. Also trying my first blog.
  • if you have the budget and like blingy shiny bits its got to be this from lezyne

totally rubbish pump but it does look nice, i have one and the pressure gauge has never worked properly, and the hose is to fiddley to connect back on after you have finished using it, but it does look good

lezyne pressure drive - gets your tyres up quicker then anything i've ever used (invaluable when cold and pissing down) and virtualy indestructable.

ooh, nice an shiny as well
