Just a note for anyone who missed this programme last time around. It is being repeated on BBC4 at 9pm on Sunday (30th Jan).

    Thanks for that, I'll be watching that for sure. I read the book Mr Tom a while back, quite illuminating, well worth a read if you haven't already. :)

    Yes good call RonB, also before it is a re-run of Ride of My Life: The Story of the Bicycle, with Rob Penn. Saw it last time round and was a good watch.

    It is. I've kept it on the Sky box and watched it again the other day. An amazing story.

    I notice that Rob Penn's "Ride of My Life" is on iPlayer for those who want to catch up (but the Tom Simpson thing isn't, funnily enough)

    Really good programme but so sad. :( Couldn't help thinking if only he'd listened to people and stopped etc.

    Strange, that. It's a BBC production, so you'd think they'd have the rights.
