Hi,
Have to order a new rear hanger from Ribble (current one is bent slightly after coming off) however I also want to add some new pads to top up the order for free delivery.
Would I be better off buying genuine parts e.g. http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/Brake-Pads-Rim-Campagnolo-BR-RE700-Brake-Pads-2prs-Cent-Chor-Rec/CAMPBRBL250000000000 or something like these cartridge pads http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/Brake-Pads-Rim-Baradine-453-Caliper-Brake-Blocks-Cart-System-1pr/BARABRBL225 although the Baradine website doesn't mention compatibility?

I'd go for the Barradine pads and cartridges - they will fit fine on the Campag Veloce brake calipers and though the pads themselves are Shimano pattern thsi does mean that you'll be able to pick up replacement inserst in pretty much any bike shop or branch of Halfords. I did exactly the same thing a few years ago on Chorus brakes.
Incidentally, SwissStop are generally reckoned the best pad inserts to get but are relatively pricey.0 -
I spent ages looking for Veloce pads earlier this year before giving these a go:

Don't worry about it saying they're Shimano-compatible, they fit Veloce fine and look really, really good. (Oh yes, and they stop you as well!).
Bizarrely you get four pairs for £16.99, don't know how they do it for the price.
