Hey, been building up this frame I got a year back and was told by the previous owner that it was a Kinesis. I am just wandering if it actually is, because the front end of the downtube is alot larger than any of the Maxlight's even the 2003 one which looks similar.

I am only curious
Thanks, not a biggy

nothing like it. wrong down tube."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

here is your down tube as the top tube on the Hotdog
that was 2004 so i think your frame is from 2005-2006"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Ye, this is deffinetly no Yeti (I WISH THO) but i am thinking Kinesis KM3 XC due to Downtube, v brake mounts and general geometry from picture:

cheers for the help0 -
Not sure, downtube is the same, but dropouts and chainstays are very different, and the black one looks like it has a gusset on the top tube.
Could be a prototype or something though. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

the chainstay bridge is nothing like yours.
bothe the Hotdog and the Kinesis have machined Braces yours is just bent.
as seen here
will remember what yours is some time soon. but I am still thinking.
it is not the KM3 XC
but
here is a Kinesis KM3
I would put it as a Kinesis frame but may be not one of their own brands."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The KM-3 was a 14 inch Dual Slalom / Dirt Jumper frame, it only came in one size.
The KM-1 & KM-2 were XC frames.0 -
