Ok, I have searched the forum and Google so I am now asking here.
I have Shimano Deore hollotech THREE (3) rings on the front and 9 on the casette, making 27 gears, however, can anyone offer any advice as to where I may get a bash ring, no I don't want to file off the teeth from the larger ring, or replace it with a bash ring, or go to Halfords for a cheap c&^££* plastic ring.

Problem is, if you look at my setup the bolts are on the edge, whereas these are further in, thanks anyway.Peds with ipods, natures little speed humps

Well as my bike is used every day seven days a week, I want it to be comfortable, and apart from lights and a horn there is nothing else on it.Peds with ipods, natures little speed humps

Oh none taken, you will find old people like me like comfort, oh and I have just spoken to chainreaction who say this bash ring replaces the larger gear ring on the bike which is not what I want to do, I want to keep all the rings and ADD a bashring, so back to square 1.

CRC are wrong, usually bash guards do replace the outer, but this one doesn't.
Alternatively go to your lbs and buy a full chain guard.0 -
