Is it a wise idea to grease a carbon seatpost if it's being inserted into a carbon frame?

read what the maker says in the manual. some say yes some say no. some say use this or use that.

I would say no in all circumstances myself, but a bit of assembly paste won't go amiss.0

dont grease a carbon post unless u get the carbon specific grease or assembly paste like others have said, some grease will react with the carbon post and cause it to swell in the frame, then its a bit of a bugger to get out!who cares?0
