Been looking around and read a little about the recovery benefits of these. Anyone tyred them and how well do they work? Also is it only the recovery specified tights that work or do other compression tights and stuff work as well, seeing as they start at around £50 a pair at cheapest.

The science is inconclusive as I understand it, but they feel nice.

I suspect the more you spend on them the better they'll work, thanks to the placebo effect.

I have a pair of slinky 2XU compression tights that I usually put on after a run, or sometimes I run in them. I do seem to recover more quickly when I wear them, but there are too many variables to say how effective they are. At the very least they look cool, in an 'X-Men pyjama bottoms for adults' kind of a way.

DHB ones are a lot cheaper and seem to work as well. Its probably pscychological anyway.

Try using a length of elasticated bandage before you spend any money. Should help you decide if they are worth it.
