are those who buy Titanium frames then think the bike is worth an extra 4 grand and never going to depreciate in value.
They are the sort that try and sell a bike for the original RRP of all the parts bought seperately.

That classified ad is comical.
I have a 2006 Spesh Enduro with some shiny red bits and some carbon. I think it's worth about £3000 by now, given it's vintage, and the fact it's 'proper' custom. 0 -

He's had the full spec on previous ads. As I've already pointed out to him it was a very mediocre build.

Not even close. It was just a standard titanium hardtail frame with mid range components on it. He wanted £3000 for it and said some guy jokingly offered him £2400 which he knew was a joke...0 -
It's a Whyte 19 Ti frame, which I'll admit is a nice frame (£1,500 new), built up with some Float 32s, Pro3 hubs and some XT type bits.
All perfectly nice stuff, and a perfectly nice bike. But not worth anything like £3k.
Not as nice as this one for example which is brand new, and only £500 less.
In short, I stand by what I initially said to him, he's a gimp.0 -
