a few subtle upgrades to the standard spec
hope eternity seatpost and hope qr clamp
hope 90mm stem
sram 990 red cassette
lizard skin shorty grips
hope 160mm floating rotors and hope qr skewers
outland el rey the king saddle
white juicy brakes
race king 2.2 supersonic tyres
shimano 520 pedals
also swapped the fork decals to keep the white theme
reba race forks
raceface next carbon riser
ritchey wcs wheels with hope pro 2 rear hub
truvativ stylo chainset with gxp bottom bracket
sram x0 gripshifters
sram x0 rear mech
xtr front mech
xtr yumeya chain
finished eventually

thats a very good looking bike, i really like the tube profiles on those and the smaller size always make them look better, shame im too tall for the smaller ones.

wheels going into merlin in the morning for hope pro 2 hubs, gotta keep the same rim as my missus will spot it a mile off

I like the fork decals. I done exactly the same thing with silver on my Team. 8)

I however have forked out on new wheels, not pictured yet....MTFU ha.

i go through fazes, i only rode the fury about 5 times, stripped it down and built a 456 then sold that last year, missus has already given me an ultimatum if the boardman is on ebay by the end of summer......................................i have found a lovely 1 bedroom flat

i stole your idea 8) why would you have red decals when there is nothing to match? have you clear coated yours by the way or just left them? still waitng to get my wheels back of merlin,

Ah well I accept your gratitude then I'm positive others have copied my bike name idea too, its good to be a pioneer.

I havent clear coated them, they were similar to the decals that came to put my name on it which have been on almost t2 years, cleaned after every ride (without scrubbing ofcourse) and look good as new. So figured I wouldnt bother. Obviously forks get battered a bit more but short of a huge off they should be fine for a long time. Would be interested to hear if you do clear coat them though.

it was 24lb standard from halfords but i wont get the new weight till i have fitted the back wheel, but with the money i have thrown at it, it needs to have lost a couple of pounds, i know i have financially 8)

phoned merlin today, wheels done fitted, gears indexed 8) now i need to go out, its 10 past 6, pitch black, raining and 90mph winds, deep sigh
