Throughout my youth I've always depended on bikes I put together myself from parts given to me and bought second hand. Two different brands of wheels and non matching parts making up the 'group set' were not uncomen. Therefore I'm very proud to finally have been able to buy decent well set-up bicyclces.

So here it goes, my two pieces of ride and joy:

(The saddle is leveled now and I replaced the Cateye computer with a Garmin Edge 705)

And my other bike, as an excuse to play in the mud every weekend ;-)

That Mares does look good. I've almost convinced myself - having bumped into numerous CX riders through the snow and ice of the last few months - that the off-road and trails I use aren't anything a cyclo-cross bike can't handle. Really rempted to sell/ditch/retire the MTB and go all drop bar.

    Your 'dale is superb.

    Your bikes are tiny.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

That's the only way they will fit me. Hence the enlarged view in the link ;-)

@Lagavulin: Thanks. Your bikes look quite good too!
