XTR Brakes.... ARRRRGGHHH!!!

I've had it with these bloody XTR brakes. I bought the top of the range last summer, treating myself. Ever since I have had nothing but problems with them and their useless adjustment capability.
I have a 4hr enduro tomorrow. Instead of looking forward to it I'm dreading the caliper/pad rub, especially on the rear brake. The caliper moves in on the pads all the time, especially in the cold. Just went out to garage to get the bike all ready and the rear wheel just does not spin freely, it rubs all the time. It was only in the shop 2 weeks ago getting adjusted! I do the odd adjustment but its a pain in the balls and sometimes I end up making it worse.
XTR is making me slow!! The amount of rub slows me down. :x Do others share this pain? :? Am I a numpty for not knowing how to adjust?
Mate of mine has the mechanical BB7. Am VERY close to buying on CRC.
NB: If you are riding brass monkeys tomo and see a dude shouting at his brakes.... best just to avoid.

the caliper moves. new MTB brake design. last lot I can remember with a floating caliper was the Gustaff's.
sounds like they have been over filled.
push the pistons home just before the race and they will sort them selves out quite fast in the mud."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks nicklouse.
cooldad - can't be just me, look at the agony shared here http://www.mtbr.com/cat/brakes/disc-bra ... 07crx.aspx
Just moved pistons back, put card in between rotor and pad and squeezed brakes. Left it like that for now, will remove card in morning and hope for the best.0 -
