Hi,
Need a replacement for a Shimano Acera, 31.8mm clamp, bottom pull on my 04 Hardrock, lots in the sale at CRC, but not sure what's the most "like-for-like", doesn't need to be too swanky, but it's my commuting/winter hack so I need reliable.
Suggestions welcome

Any cheap Shimano will work fine, even the cheapest are reliable. Just make sure the swing is correct.I don't do smileys.

Cheers for the quick reply, so (and excuse my ignorance), "bottom pull" has nothing to do with the swing? That's just where the cable enters the mech?
If that's true how do I check the swing?
I know...I'm an eejit :roll:0 -

I suppose I asked for that!

Depends where the clamp is in relation to the mech body.
Bottom swing
Top swingI don't do smileys.
