Advice on new Wireless Computer

Hi guys,

my speedo just died and I need to get a new one!

Whats the best advice on getting a new wireless computer? Needs to have basic functions and maybe also cadent reader?

Im not looking to go very expensive, but also not cheapest in price..

Your help would be great!

I have the Bonty Node 1 on my road bike it has cadence speed temp etc. and ANT + for a heart rate monitor.

Tho for an extra £25 ish you can get a node 2 that comes with the heart rate monitor and has an altitude function.

A quick thumbs up for the wireless strada from me. Went out ro a ride for the first time in ages yesterday. Got home and took off the strada to clean down the bike, then put my muddy gear in the washing machine on pre wash then a full wash afterwards. Found the strada lying at the bottom of the wahing machine 8 hours later and to my amazement it still works fine

Now I would expect a certain level of water proofing but not that much.

Cateye strada double wireless will give you cadence etc, easy to set up and as mrmcdean ive washing machined mine before with no issues! :oops: theres a review in the gear section on here.

Cadence, altitude, temp plus all the normal computer functions. I have a two bike set up and swap it between my roady and my mtb just by sliding the display unit out of one mount and into the other.

Install was easy and it worked straight away on both bikes. You get loads of bands and cable ties of differing sizes to cope with all fitting options.
