Anyone know what has become of them?
I'm guessing they've either moved or folded.
Thanks.

I know its a late reply...
Bearwood Cycles was owned by 2 brothers, they decided to retire and sold it to a nationwide cycle chain, I forget who? They couldn't get it to work and subsequently closed the shop.
I was a big fan of the shop, they had pretty much everything I needed. Over the years I'd bought several bikes from them and their mechanic (who left to become a bus driver!) was first rate.
He built my Mike Kowal (AutoStrada) SLX Blue&White with full chrome and Dura ace/Campy mix road bike (I miss that bike)
Shame they closed. I think it's a furniture shop now?0 -
It looks looks like the guy who's started this thread was the mechanic... ... Catdrivingabus0

I really recommend Venture Bikes on Pershore Road in Stirchley. The lad who runs it, Ben, was head mechanic at the Spesh concept store at Fort Dunlop but went on his own.
Doesn't sell a lot of stuff but can get hold of parts. Serviced a few bikes for me and loves his job. He's mad into wheel building as well.0
