In fact not even midweek for me, as I now am working Sunday so got another 4 days on earlies to do yet, although Sunday is double time, I start at 8 but dont do a thing until 5 past 1
Anyway, good morning, its Friday for most of you and the end of another week, will soon be Xmas!! Chainset arrived yesterday, but as I was out I have to go and pick it up today as I couldn't be bothered yesterday (plus I work right next to the post office depot)
After that(and work), another gym sesh in my bid to look vascular before nipping home to hoover before Mrs's mate arrives tonight. This will be followed by me being in bed by 7 as I've got a 3am start in the morn, so I'll be up at 2
Anyway enough waffle
Bye
Much love

Good Morning Freaks!
TGIF!
Another awesome ride in this morning. Well, apart from the fog, which was so thick in places the flashing light on my helmet was just lighting up the fog and not where I should be riding! And then there was the frost/freezing fog, which left a nice layer of frost all over me, much to the surprise of the security guard who muttered something along the lines of “must be bl00dy mad…”
Bacon sandwich (complete with grated cheese) is about to be consumed, then I’m off to a meeting to discuss bike trails.

TFIF! I see someone turned the cold switch on, the car was an ice scultpure again this morning. Got into work early which means I leave early. A slice of wholewheat toast and cup of tea are in order0

I feel as though today is going to be good for some reason. With Valentines day just around the corner, the women will start dressing um tartier
Think someone might be off today so will be covering their work.
"I don't mind going to work, it's the 9 hours before I can go home that bothers me."0 -
Welcome all, back from the mong fest that has been the past few days. Looking forward to relaxing with the mrs, taking the mother in laws hound for a walk, and if i'm feeling generous a bit of extra time spent on work. That's a big if though haha.
Morning all!0 -
Friday, but I have no enthusiasm for anything.
It's the monthly managers meeting today, which involves sitting in a room with no windows for 6 hours listening to Senior M going over the same old laboured guff. Made even more enjoyable as yet again the Senior M's PA only issued the minutes last night and there's loads of actions I was supposed to have completed, and missing the last fun fest I didn't even know I had to.

Morning chaperoonies.
Up in Cambridge again today, i forgot my book and my breakfast so off out in a while to buy some grilled sliced pig in a baguette. (harder than it sounds in cambride)
Not much going on here, so i'll watch Evil Dead 2 later on zee phone and maybe a little nap after lunch?
Trying to decide what to do with the scandal, i may strip it down and repaint it? or just sell the frame or sell as a complete bike? Oh i dont know?0 -
morning all.

Morning everyone!
Today I drove in as I want to get home quickly to collect my FS and get over to Bury before rush hour. By the time I'd defrosted the car and got to work, I was later than if I'd cycled in! Never mind, i'll be home much quicker (touches lucky rabbits foot, some wood, kills a small child to honour the traffic jam Gods).
I'm more excited today about that fact tomorrow I'm going to go to Lee Quarry. It's only up the road (the M66) from my parents house, and I can't believe I've never been before considering how close it is. Weathers looking good (kills another child for the weather Gods) so I'm hoping to have a grrrrrrrreat dayIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Well only 3 of us turned up for the meeting, so I chaired and finished in an hour and a half.
X-7 rear mech was waiting on my desk, what a con, no carbon fibre, only a carbon fibre effect sticker on the outside plate.
I think a trip to Waitrose for food is needed followed by an afternoon trying to work out funding for a 29er. Perhaps if I shopped in Lidl more this would be an easier task?Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Well it's a quiet day at work here in more ways than one. Not much work doing and the radio in the ambulance isn't working so I'm sitting here enjoying the sunshine and watching the Life Cycles movie on my iPod

:x ok, so today isn't going to be good. Left a note for someone to do something, they were also emailed but they still didn't do it.
I have some woman on my case because she 'thinks' something doesn't work, when actually it does.
I haven't even been here for half the day yet.
*looks at clock, hmm not quite 6 yet..*0 -
I didnt have access to BR for the last 3hs!
I'm back, not done anything all day, skipped breakfast in the end, just had battered sausage and chips at my desk 8)0 -
well, its 2pm and i have just got up!
back at work tomorrow though, bloody 7 days a week opening hours! why did i have such a silly idea!0 -
2 hours to go for me.
My minion left about 2 hours ago! Cheeky thing! When asked about where the hell she thought she was going, she said somet about a form I signed allowing her to take actual time off work for an afternoon.
I shall try to find this form. It cannot exist. Apparently it's labelled 'Holiday Form' :roll:It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

It's alright, whilst she's out, I'm actually discovering that a load of files have gone missing. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but as you can imagine, 2 years have passed and it's now that they've decided to ask to see them.
Well I can't find them, but the email's I've sent have gone along the lines of "My minion was clearing out that folder just the other day......"
:twisted:It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Good Afternoon All,
Been shopping and bought a pretty new outfit for going out tomorrow night, spent too much money but oh well. Now for a few chores before going for a sauna and swim.0 -

Today, I paid the admin fee to secure our new house for next year, made some excellent progress with my lab project, received the parts I was waiting for to rebuild my Carrera as a singlespeed hippymobile, and then went and bought a couple of tools. All in all, a highly productive day. I might rebuild the Carrera now, but it's cold and dark, so I'll probably wait until tomorrow.0
