anybody know what the hub is on the standard ritchey wcs wheels found on the boardman pro, i bought a new cassette to change too, but i thought when fitting it, it would be a gud idea to strip the lockring threads   now, i have been told i dont need a new hub but can instead just get hold of a new freehub :) , any thoughts on this (yes i am a pillock)

That's something I don't think I've ever come close to doing.

If Shimano then any Shimano one will do.

It's prob a 475 or a 525 - a deore would suit the bill s only about a 15 quid mistake, or see if there's a cheap full rear hub and swap and keep the rest for any other errors!

Also, check it's not just the lockring you've bust.
  • If just replacing the freehib body then be aware -There are different freehub body fitings. You need to get the right one.

I think they're Formula hubs, I remember seeing the name when I took mine apart on my Boardman HT Pro.
