I think I am suffering from chainsuck and it sucks.

It's never happened to me before but now I got it bad. Everything keeps locking up forcing me to jump off, it only happens in the granny ring, under load and when it's dirty and wet. I gather it's caused by a worn chainring but it's fairly new and until recently I never used the granny ring. Should I just get a tougher granny ring ?

I read the second link already, that's how I diagnosed chainsuck. It's not the chain as I changed that and it's well maintained so I suppose it must be the granny ring which is fairly new so I'll check it for burrs.Smarter than the average bear.0

I suffered chain suck too for the first time on this group set. I really think it was down to really bad mud and crud sticking the chain.
I'd do a proper clean and soak in parafin and then use a good quality m/c chain wax.0
