RS Monarch 3.1 HV can ISSUES

Not sure if its a defect or not but the outer can of my Monarch has a slight bit of up and down movement. So much so that if messed with enough that I can get air to escape.
Thought it may just be not done up tight enough so took it apart to give it a basic service and thought i'd get rid of the play when tightning it back up.
Hmmm not so, the outer HV can still has 1-2mm movement. Although the air loss seems to have stopped.
Is there anything fundamentally wrong with it?
