There's so much negativity today. People need to take a chill pill.

It's gorgeous out there, you're doing something you enjoy, be happy 8)

 Using words and phrases like chillax and chill pill will probably not aid your cause ;)

    You are mostly right, though

lol, keiran they really dont know what their missing with lovely countryside on your commute do they?

oh and with the sun shining and a day off I think i may just go out and enjoy it :)

Cant wait til it gets little brighter in mornings and i can do my 21 mile commute with two sets of traffic lights the whole way :)
  • I got rained on this morning, speak for yourself.

Fortunately I was asleep for the vast majority of the ride in, so barely noticed! :D
  • It thought about raining on me, then decided not to. About which I was very grateful.

I agree, there is a lot of negativity today, but I will not be taking a chill pill to chillax. I've only just got out of The Priory after a spell in the Betty Ford clinic.

It took me half an hour to calm down when I got into the office this morning, but I showed my helmet cam footage to colleagues and they could see my point with the stupidly close overtake and suicidal peds.
One colleague suggested I get a riding crop to hit cars with. She is a horse rider and when cars overtake too close she hits the roof of the car with the crop.

Baker man is baking bread... 8)

(just for the record I had a fantastic nights sleep last night and chose to stay in bed that extra half hour, which meant I drove in today when I should've cycled. I don't care, no guilt, I was having a great dream and was feeling just fab. So nuh)

Well, I had about 5 hours of interupted sleep due to the littl'un's wind waking her up, followed by a ride in through cold drizzle, needing my lights on even though it was nearly 10am by the time I got to work.

    However, this cheered me up.

Am however now slightly concerned about the Chinook (big helicopter with twin rotors for those wondering) that has so far made three low level passes over the Hoxton/Shoreditch area.

You must be near me just seen/heard/felt them fly past my 4th floor window.
