Hello
How tight should the fit be on the HT2 spindle and a bb90 bottom bracket. Once the splined section is incerted it becomes very difficult to fit eventualy needing a hammer and some wood to hit it into place. It was the same on my old shimano bb90 BB and the new kcnc i fitted yesterday.
is this right?
Thanks

Sounds quite tight, but they do take some working in.0

it should be a good tight slide fit. some persuasion is needed. but only really when starting off on the second bearing as they need to sort themselves out to align correctly."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Tried pushing bit not a chnce i could get it all the way into place without hammer. I wiil try my old HT2 crank when i get chance. Takes a good wack with a hammer to remove too.0 -
I wouldn't bother. Sounds normal as long as it's not a lump hammer. Always use wood as you're doing though.0
