Hey guys & girls....
After a year of good riding and the fact i seemed to have lost my spare chain, i have decided to get a new 9 spd chain for my trusty cube ams 100... Trouble is i am not sure which to get and would like some reviews...
i have found a shimano xtr / dura ace chain for £20 delivered and i have been looking at the KMC x9l ( im a bit of a tart and like the gold colour
) .. Whats your opinions on these...
Jon

If you've been riding with the same chain for a year you may have worn your cassette out too, maybe even the chainrings.
I always go for a mid range chain like the KMC X9-93, I don't see the point in expensive consumable stuff like chains. Higher end chains do the same job as mid range chains, they are a tad lighter, but a lot less durable
You'll know if you have worn your cassette or chainrings out if the new chain skips when riding0 -
Thanks for the tip... Has teh Kmc x9-93 ever failed on you? I have had a good look at he cassette and it seems in pretty good shape...0
