Good effort well done. the more you the better it gets. i started at 23 stone in mallorca. Ive only been doing it serioulsly since august. in august was 20 stone and now 17.6 stone. just kept upping the mileage, chuffed when i did 50 then one day went out and turned the distance off and kept going till i dropped ended up with 102.3 miles in 6.5 hours and thats at just under 18 stone. amazing how quick the body gets used to it. keep it up good work!0

Well done. Hope you did plenty of stretches once you got back. Remember to take a good rest as well. I was out yesterday and did 49miles, it was cold by the time I got home, I slept well last nightThe older I get the faster I was0

You need to see Gaz's (GB155 on here) blog on his battle. Truly amazing will power and should serve as an inspiration to millions.

FLIL,
Top stuff doing 25 miles. Thats a fair trek as your first real 'distance' ride!
I'm as my name suggests not small either and infact am currently wishing I was as light as you!
Just keep at it and the distance will come. I did my first 50 mile trek in quite a while today so it is perfectly doable just try not to over exert yourself too much. much like running try not to increase the amount by too much too quickly.FCN 7

i must admit when my mate said we would be riding 20 miles i thought eehhhhhhh ??? me 20 miles you have to be joking, but when i returned i had done 25 , i cant believe how much i am now hooked on riding my bike, next step will be a couple more 25 mile rides then increase slowly and then maybe think about doing a sportive or something on them lines....im that hooked im even considering joining a club
GAZ you are an inspiration to anyone overweight and is scared to ride a bike, i take my hat off to you0
