Hi all,
I have an 09 cannondale bad boy. It has 26inch wheels fitted. Can i fit 700c wheels straight on or would i have to mod it? Would there be a big difference in performance/rolling etc!

Cheers

If it has disc brakes, then you generally can, as long as your 700c tyres are smaller than the 26" ones. Take it into a bike shop and ask to see if you can fit a pair of wheels in there.

To be honest though, there's not a huge amount of difference when done as a conversion. Your gears will be slightly larger (bigger wheel circumference), but you won't get the same performance as using a dedicated road bike or a 700c hybrid with road gears.

and you may have to wait for a set to be built to order due to hub widths being different at the rear for disc hubs. and there not being that many road based 700c disc builds out there.
