I tried to service my 2009 Fox 32 F-Series RL and ran into a few problems.

The tiny allen bolt on the rebound & lockout control has rounded off. can anyone advise me on how I could remove this?

Also when I tried to put the lock nuts back on the bottom of the fork innards, the damper side will not go back on. It just spins and so I can not turn the nut. Any ideas?

I am hoping you are not going to tell me I need new forks

You need a whole new bike.

If it is any help, the damper on some forks is loose inside, so the thing you are screwing the bolt into might just be rotating freely. so might not be broken.

    Not used this fork though.

p.s. bravo on self service, once you have worked out the niggles, it is easy to service your own fork and doesn't take long to get to the level of tuning it yourself.
