got a feeling this is going to be a long week, lack of fun at work & some MBA work = boring non biking week0
-
Oh and i forgot to add, I have a night with just me and the wife tonight, No kids! so were gonna head out for a meal, and beer etc
But this does mean i'll forfit the night ride :evil:0 -
Morning, bleh 4 am starts from tommorrow so forced myself up earlyish today to get to sleep tonight. Time for brekky I think though now0

I would have paid top dollar for another hour's lay in this morning, I'm only at work in body, my spirit is still in slumberland :?
Just another day at work today, but when I get home I am going to be doing a little work on the commuter as I want to get out and ride.
Strangely I've lost a Cateye Strada Speedo somewhere in my orgaised chaos at home, one I specifically bought for and tediously calibrated on the rigid road MTB0 -
Today's going to be more meh at work, then home to sort through my tyre collection. Need to have a clear out and sell a few pairs so that I can get some XT stuff. Day off on Thursday so I might even get the bike ready for a ride tomorrow.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
second meh..ning in a row, what does tonsilitis feel like? my throat is so sore and it feels like it's swollen up so nothing more than a pea could get down there
anyway, not much to do in work today and an early finish anyway
i hope i feel better by the weekemnd i want to go riding0 -
Morning everyone. Disappointing ride on the Chase last night, a lot of effort for very little reward.
The Flow™ has gone on holiday I hope it comes back soon0 -

Good moaning.
Today is looking like it may be a day for snoozing, only got 3 lectures but they are at stupid times so I'm planning lots of naps inbetween.
Then I'm going to buy a fancy dress costume for hockey tour, the theme is anything Mario related. Had considerded going as a bomb but didn't think it would go down too well at the airport.0 -
morning
ive got to go into uni this morning, even though i have no idea whether my morning tutorial is on, cause ive been told it is, but its not on the time table
grr
and then when i do get back home ive gotta try and finish off the research i am doing for a project ive got on. which consists of me stuck in front of a computer not doing anything fun for 4 or 5 hours at a time0 -
The forecast is not too bad this week so hopefully things will improve.0

morning
today I have taken the day off school to wait for GLS to deliver my CRC order, just hope they turn up fairly soon as the sun is shining and it would be a lovely day for a ride.Whilst waiting I am going to do some revision as I have mocks tomorrow .I assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.0 -
Grrrrr Morning (or afternoon) Freaks!
Got set upon by the PF and her evil minions this morning on the ride into work. After removing 6 small tacks from my rear tyre, I gave up any idea of trying to fix it in the dark, (because I’m pretty sure there’s another one or two in there somewhere) walked home and then got the train into the office. Although I’m a huge advocate for Conti’s Gatorskin tyres, the current set I’m using must be cursed. This is my 5th set and previously I’ve only ever had 1 puncture. I’m getting about 1 a week at the moment with these. Might have to go back to using Contacts, but they just don’t roll as quick as the Gatorskins do. Some research is needed, which will be this lunchtime’s activity (along with sourcing something warm and sliced pig flavoured).
Typical really, the first day this year, where I could ride in the dry, sunny weather... :evil:0 -
Yo homos!
Just waiting for my new wheels to show up and I can finally get the commuter finished.
Tracking site says they were out for delivery yesterday, must be getting delivered on the back of a donkey or something.
Tomorrow will be my first day back at work after Christmas. Which will be ghey, but there will be bacons and Irn Bru, which is a bonus.0 -

Bummer, I read on a link from Bails that eejuts were riding the trail in areas marked off / excluded by the trail builders.
I saw that happen last year on FTD too, areas that were not supposed to be ridden on were being used and when I confronted some boneheads about it they got quite upset with me.0 -
I'm in a cba mood today. I woke up last night at 3am with nice indigestion (probably somet to do with the 14" pizza I wolfed down last night) and am still suffering a bit today Rennie is my friend.
I'm still waiting for the Royal Fail to reply to my message I sent them about what the £8 handling fee actually pays for. Robbin barstweards.
I want to go out and ride. Where's the nice frozen mud I remember from last year? That's always funIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Alright people, I'm getting desperate to ride now but stills truggling to find the time.
I'll be going for a run later though, just squeeze one in before the mrs goes out and I'm sprogsitting. Should get the bike cleaned though ready for a night ride, maybe tomorrow (hopefully).
Other than that today has hardly been productive, skiing holidays are hideously expensive at half term and we cant figure a way of getting 6 people into a 5 seat car.
I might just leave one of them in the boot.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -

Tow 1 person behind you on their skis. Simple.
