How many of you support your Local Bike Shop or buy from Mail Order or EBay stores?

I also use all three depending on what I am after. If the price is significantly cheaper online, then often I will try my LBS who often price match.Specialized FSR XC Expert 20100

I'm the same for not only bike products but most items I spent my hard-earned on. I was in WH SMith today looking for Bradley Wiggins book but they want £15 for it whereas I can get it from online for 2/3 of that. If it was a small local bookshop then I would not mind paying the extra £5 but WHSmith are a national chain of shops and need to be more competitive.
I support local business as much as I can but not when it's a major price-difference.

Both, but mainly mail order. The Bike Chain are local to me and they have a competetive retail op in their bricks and mortar store, so I'll use them over mail order but most of the LBSs have poor stock and terrible pricing. If I need spannering done I go to a shop that only really does spannering anyway.Uncompromising extremist0
