which avi codec to view cycling torrents files?

Might be a hard question to answer but which avi codec do i need to download for windows media player to be able to view cycling torrents files?

  • if your downloading from file sharing sites don't bother with playing them through windows media player. It's too fussy about what it likes.
    Get VLC media player - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ - It's free and works a treat and will play any video file in any format.

    Another option is get hold of the K-Lite codec pack and use another media player. Plenty more other than WMP available.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    +1 for the vlc player plays everything i chuck at it

    Same here, and ive got VLC on the iPhone, both work well.
