Morning fellow biketards been on the beer all night and feeling rather merry, as you can probably tell attempted to call an early night so I'm some kind of reasonable state to ride inabit but alasthis seems to be not happening!!!! Any decent plans for this final day of the weekend before the dreaded Monday morning crap arrives?

Just watched The Terminator on iPlayer. I spent a few hours asleep this evening, which unfortunately probably means that I won't be able to sleep now. Hey ho.0

Good morning, last night was hockey initation.
I remember 2 events. Getting carried onto the minibus while complaining about the blood stains on my jeans, the second is getting off a train at Kings Cross, although I don't remember getting on it in the first place.
I'm slightly covered in cuts, bruises and strange dark marks that won't wash off that don't fall into either of the 2 previous categories. One of my ribs feels very tender too.
Anyone know a miracle hangover cure please?0 -

the training part of that film was filmed where i did my basic training. As was Memphis bell.

Beautiful morning here so was up pretty much the earliest i've ever been up on a Sunday (8:30) and in the garden fettling with the bike in shorts and t-shirt... hopefully the weather will hold out like this all week.0

Good Morning Freaks!
Been fettling this morning. Or should I say, swearing lots at not being able to find an off-cut of 1" waste pipe to use to bash the new seals into the SIDs...
Going to take the hound for a walk now...0 -
New brake pad's fitted to the bikes, waiting on a new chain to arrive (hopefully tomorrow). Then both bikes will be alive and well. Todays plans involve, chocolate weetabix, baconz and maybe a chinese for dinner.0

well considering how much i drank last night/this morning, and had barely an hours, todays ride was pretty good best ive felt on the bike since before christmas, so i must be doing something right down side is im now dying of severe tiredness, so i think i may just die in bed for the rest of the day0

Well, I'm off to visit my old man in hospital in a bit. Bit of company for him.
I too watched Full Metal Jacket last night. "This is my rifle, this is my gun. This fighting, this is for fun" love that film.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I "worked" last night which meant from 8:30 - 06:30 I was on call, no calls so watched a film and slept= win+pay=$ for bling
Rode a little later than normal today. Just got started in the woods and came across a couple, the husband had fallen in the mud a broke his leg/ankle:shock:
So we sorted out ambulance etc, had to guide them in and then go back for the trolly. Trolly & deep mud dont mix, so firemen were called for help carrying the trolly!
Only had time and strength for a short ride after that!
Dinners in and I'm watching Wallace and gromit0 -
