Didn't really put any thought into wind until today.

55 minutes to ride from my house to Stainburn into the headwind, 30 minutes to ride back tired from a few laps round!

Makes such a huge difference, much more than I originally thought!

  • If you had årse wind that strong, you wouldn't need to pedal!

I have a very strong headwind most days on the ride home from work. Problem of living by the coast. Makes a couple of MPH difference to my average speed. All good training though.

Which ever way I go the wind is blowing in my face :(
Why has my sig been removed by the admins???
  • I do feel much better after getting rid of that wind - honestly! Sorry if it got in the way of peoples cycling though

Went for a walk today (bike's in the shop) and it made a huge difference - slows you right down if its in the "wrong" direction.

All the more reason for riding off-road in the woods.
  • Lots of head and side winds for me today. Due to being in middle of city (and far away from anything resembling a hill) I'm currently using the place's Rambla for my rides. Pretty flat but plenty wind (and the amount of amazing fanny is unreal!)
