Hello

I am thinking of buying the Polar CS500cad!
Does anyone have experience with it or can give me tips?!

One of the things that hold me back form buying it right away is, that you cannot exchange the batteries in the sensors, so you´d have to spend another 90 Euros to buy two new one, but I do not know how long they will last?!

thx, cheers C.

  • Had a friend who had one of thees. Iterminable problems apparently.

He and his Mrs changed over to the VDOZ3 with cadence & HRM and haven't looked back since.

I've had one for about 6 months, and it's the best training tool I've had.

Have the CS400 NO problems and wouldn't be without it.
Being able to sit and home and review the laps is the main
    reason.
Mahatma Gandhi was asked by a British journalist what he thought of Western civilisation. "I think it would be a good idea," he replied.

My CS600, bought s/h via the classifieds on this very forum, is ace, multiple exercise sets (can the CS500 do that - very handy) altitude etc.
I've had a few Polars in the past, liked them although that last one, S720, also bought s/h started playing silly buggers and would reset itself.

Battery swap on mine is dead easy.
