The LBS I use I think had overtighten the pinch bolt on the right hand side arm of my crank. As A result of removing it with extreme resistsnce the hex shape in the head is now rounded. I know it is an M5 bolt from my installing instructions, but can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement without having to buy a new chainset.
Thanks.
I don't mind what they say... as long as they say its enormous

a bike shop that deals with shimano.

who took the bolts out? and was it the last bolt that was undone?

  • It was an FSA crank. I removed the bolt this time.
I tried hot water on it first in case of threadlok.
