Hi There
Sorry for the newb question. I am maybe looking to take my trusty steed to ashton court trails (Bristol).
First question is, Is it free (i.e. to use the trail, parking etc.???)
And second, anyone got a map link to get there easily, (can you start the trail at more than one location etc??)
Thanks in advance

Hi Mate, I'm a newbie too! I've got to go up to Clifton on Monday and was planning to take my bike with me and explore Ashton Court. I've not biked there before but have walked the dog there when I lived in Bristol. There's a free car park in the middle of the estate and I think the trails are pretty well signposted. Google Ashton Court and you'll find some sites with a map of the trails and how to get there.
If you happen to be there at 3pm on Monday perhaps we could meet up?0 -
Start of the timberland trail and map is at the top gate (as if you are going to. The golf / mini railway / just up the road from the suspension bridge)
Very clearly marked and basically follows the wall - before crossing over to wood.
Might have a google map.... will check laterSimon0 -
Look at the map section on the Bristol Trails Group website.
Ashton Court is wet but doable. 50 acre wood is, in my opinion, a bit of a muddy nightmare at the moment. Not sure about Leigh Woods, but it's likely to be be slippy. Mud tyres on and enjoy!0
