Hi
I've got a Trek 1.2 Compact (2010) and recently (my 1st in months) had a flat tyre whilst riding... i'm looking at all these stores and can't seem to decide which one to get and why. Any recommendations (links would be useful).
Cheers

Hi
I have one of these :-

eay to pump up to pressure and easy to see gauge. Does not strain the value when pumping up. Had mine over 6 months now and no problem. The mount that it comes with is a bit pants but I use a Blackburn pump holder which goes by the bottle holder and that's good for me.0 -
Cheers mate, is the following one the same one your on about?

I have a Lezyne Floor Drive I think it is called - touch wood I have never had to use it on the road, but have used it alongside my track pump at home and can get 100psi which is pretty good and much better than my previous mini pumps. the downside is that it is pricey!

go with a gas pump for on the road - some come with a gas and manual option, so you still have a pump for those shit days when you have more than one puncturehttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Gas pumps are good when you're racing mountain bikes... but I never have used one for the road. (anger the puncture gods time... I just don't seem to pick up punctures!).
Lezyne stuff is the dogs... Works really really well.: "Why don't i remember breaking my face?" :

One of the Topeak frame pumps. They're all very good. I use a Road Master Blaster, don't bother with topping up my tyres with the floor pump after a puncture now.- - - - - - - - - -

With CO2 you need to carry a back-up - if you get more than a couple of punctures, or the cartridge doesn't seal properly. Most mini-pumps are pointless bike ornaments IME. Lezyne are one of the few worth using, but I prefer a full-size frame pump for speed, ease of ease and reliability.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
