Well, what a huge disappointment that was! I know everyone is different, but I'm pretty middle-of-the-road and have a broad range of interests within cycling, but there was very little substance to any of it, some nice shiny bikes at Cervelo and Pinarello and shiny frames/bikes at Chicken Cycles but that's about it.
I wasn't that impressed with Earls Court in October (my first show) but it had 10 times the features and interest of today's visit - would be interested to hear what any more seasoned showgoers think over the weekend?

My thoughts (as posted elsewhere) =
Meh!
A very mediocre affair - not much there at all I thought. I did pick up the 2011 Pinarello brochure though and I got myself shown round an £8.5 mil Gin Palace
The bike show bit was mostly shops selling complete bikes, no real componentry there and only a few clothing stores. The Layzene guy didn't even have anything actually for sale
On the plus side - my credid card remained intact (although I'm having serious thoughts about a Freelander).0 -

True, all I bought was a new pair of nice flip-flops, from the Boat Show side :?
I did however discover, thanks to the Madison guys, that I have a Bell shaped head (not literally) rather than a Giro shaped one - not great news when thinking about my first helmet purchase and being a bit of a tart2011 Bianchi D2 Cavaria in celeste (of course!)
